{"id":1547,"date":"2013-03-05T20:14:10","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T20:14:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.odysseus-contests.eu\/?p=1547"},"modified":"2013-03-05T20:14:10","modified_gmt":"2013-03-05T20:14:10","slug":"national-finalists-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.odysseus-contests.eu\/?p=1547","title":{"rendered":"National Finalists Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The national finalists of the Odysseus educational contest were selected following the first round of judging from 106 entries from student teams around the European Union.\u00a0 All submitted projects could be viewed in the Odysseus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.odysseus-contests.eu\/?page_id=1358\">Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The national finalists are listed below and they will now compete for the top prizes of the Odysseus contest.\u00a0 An International Jury consisting of high level experts and professionals on space exploration will determine the top three winners (one per each theme category), while a fourth winner will be selected by public voting among all participating teams.\u00a0 Finally, one more winning team from the participating non-EU countries will be announced by the end of March.<\/p>\n<p>The teams that will compete in the final round of the contest are the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>A.\u00a0 \u201cSolar System\u201d Category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vienne (Austria), Hephaestus (Bulgaria), Astronomie AG EGN (Germany), Sunspots (Greece), Pind\u0171r Pand\u00farok (Hungary), Space Champions (Italy), College 1 (Netherlands), NIAC (Portugal), Transylvanian Bear Squad (Romania), ILost (Slovakia).<\/p>\n<p><strong>B. \u201cCo-evolution of life\u201d Category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Levski (Bulgaria), Exoplants (Greece), Team Richlik (Hungary), Spatial Relations (Ireland), Mighty Green Children (Latvia), Groepje 1 (Netherlands), Orion IMS (Romania).<\/p>\n<p><strong>C. \u201cSpaceship \u2013 Global cooperation\u201d Category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bulgaria (Bulgaria), Spacejump (Germany), Big Bang (Greece), HungaroBots (Hungary), GiveMeSomeMilkyWay (Lithuania), Sybren.dejong1 (Netherlands), No Idea (Poland), DiscoverSpace (Portugal), HelioTeam (Romania), Bay House School (United Kingdom)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The national finalists of the Odysseus educational contest were selected following the first round of judging from 106 entries from student teams around the European Union.\u00a0 All submitted projects could be viewed in the Odysseus Library.
