We are excited to announce the winners of the Odysseus educational contest.<\/p>\n
The winners in each theme category are as follows:<\/p>\n
Solar system Theme:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n First Place: lLhost<\/strong> team from Slovakia, with the project \u201cAn Abundance Comparison and Distribution of C, S, O and noble gasses He, Ar and Ne in the Atmosphere of Jupiter<\/em>\u201d Second Place: Hephaestus<\/strong> team from Bulgaria Third Place:\u00a0 Sunspots<\/strong> team, from Greece Co-evolution of life Theme:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n First Place: Exoplants<\/strong> team from Greece, with the project\u00a0 \u201cWhat colour would plants have on another planet?\u201d Second Place:\u00a0 ORION IMS<\/strong> team from Romania Third Place:\u00a0 Levski<\/strong> team, from Bulgaria Spaceship \u2013 Global cooperation Theme:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n First Place: Bay House Schools<\/strong> team from the United Kingdom with the project \u201cINTERcore\u201d Second Place:\u00a0 Helio<\/strong> team from Romania Third Place:\u00a0 Spacejump<\/strong> team, from Germany Entries were judged in the final round of the Odysseus contest by an international panel of high-level experts on space. The first-place team in each theme category will travel to the European Astronaut Centre in Germany and to Space Expo in the Netherlands, where they will present their projects in an award ceremony to be held on the 18th<\/sup> of April 2013.<\/p>\n The participants\u2019 voting winner is ORION IMS<\/strong> team from Romania, which will be also awarded a trip to the European Astronaut Centre and to Space Expo.\u00a0 Finally, the winning team from the non-EU countries will be announced next week.<\/p>\n Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all students and teachers, who encouraged and supported their participation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are excited to announce the winners of the Odysseus educational contest.
