Evaluators in Denmark
Dr. Niels Lund, Emeritus Scientist at the DTU Space, of the Technical University of Denmark |
Dr. Lund has been involved in the planning and development of instrumentation for more than 30 satellite and ballon experiments within the fields of cosmic ray studies, X-ray astronomy and geomagnetism. He has supervised numerous master and PhD projects and has worked as teacher and instructor at many summer schools. |
Prof. Jorgen Christensen-Dalsgaard, Head of the Danish AsteroSeismology Centre |
Prof. Christensen-Dalsgaard teaches introductory and advanced courses in stellar structure and evolution, as well as a course on stellar pulsation. His research covers aspects of solar and stellar structure and oscillations, with particular emphasis of the application of oscillation observations to helioseismology and asteroseismology. Prof. Christensen-Dalsgaard served as scientific leader of the MONS project (for Measuring Oscillations in Nearby Stars) on the planned Danish satellite Romer. |
