Evaluators in Denmark
Dr. Niels Lund, Emeritus Scientist at the DTU Space, of the Technical University of Denmark Dr. Lund has been involved in the planning and development of instrumentation for more than 30 satellite and ballon experiments within the fields of cosmic ray studies, X-ray astronomy and geomagnetism. He has supervised numerous master and PhD projects and has worked as teacher and instructor at many summer schools.
Prof. Jorgen Christensen-Dalsgaard, Head of the Danish AsteroSeismology Centre Prof. Christensen-Dalsgaard teaches introductory and advanced courses in stellar structure and evolution, as well as a course on stellar pulsation. His research covers aspects of solar and stellar structure and oscillations, with particular emphasis of the application of oscillation observations to helioseismology and asteroseismology. Prof. Christensen-Dalsgaard served as scientific leader of the MONS project (for Measuring Oscillations in Nearby Stars) on the planned Danish satellite Romer.
