We are a Hungarian team, from an astronomy class called Supernova. This is a short version of our project, which is written in Hungarian: A Lewin Kísérleti Kolonizációs Program egy jövőbeli, hosszútávú, nemzetközi összefogás által kezdeményezett, szociálpszichológiai kísérletre kifejlesztett űrprogram, amely keretében több kisebb kolóniát létesítenek a Fő Kisbolygó-övben, hogy társadalmi formák prototípusait vizsgálhassák.

New LinkOur project is a website and this project was made by three portuguese students from Azambuja,Portugal, our project is a website with videos introducers and an explanation about the solar system, which will cover the planets, the sun, gravity and space rest, we still have a page of curiosities about the planets.
This is the URL of our website http://www.odysseusuniverse.pt.vg/
Hope you enjoy!

We want to learn more about the planets in our Solar System so we decided to organize an expedition to Mars.In order to send astronauts there, we must know the consequences of sending life into space, so firstly we decided to send animals such as chimpanzees or rats into space ( after hard training with one of the best trainers in the world) in order to see what happens to life on Mars, and see for how long the animals will survive.
After we enquire about the important conditions in order to send the astronauts to Mars, we must take into account all the measures for a successful expedition. Animals will help us determine how we will prepare the astronauts for their expedition and see what circumstances they must face.
We wanted to open a new path for exploration, to be creative and courageous, to explore an incredible and also very interesting planet.

The composition and pressure of Mars atmosphere are very different from Earth ones. Various projects of terraforming of Mars are discussed widely. We demonstrate one more way to change the composition and pressure of Martian atmosphere: the fall of relatively large body onto polar cap of Mars. We show the Phobos fall consequences for the planet and its atmosphere. Polar caps of the planet consist of a century of water and carbon dioxide ices. Due to fall of Phobos onto polar cap of Mars impact crater with a diameter of 20 to 200 km may be formed. In the place of falling, water ice polar caps will melt and evaporate; water vapor will be thrown into the atmosphere that causes the changes of its pressure and composition. The impact releases small soil particles, resulting in the contamination of some part of the cap and its melting. The increase of mass of atmosphere reduces the number of small meteoroids reaching the planet surface. Thus, the damage of the equipment investigating Mars will be reduced. The realization of our project will be great experiment on transforming celestial bodies and checking of hypothesis on processes of the impact interaction of Solar System bodies.

The video shows how european countries can contribute with their inventions and technology to space research.
